THE CENTRE OF EVERYTHING

There is so much to see, do, and taste on your holiday – but sometimes it’s nice just to sit still. All three of the houses at Cod Rock Point are full of the comforts of home – we want you to love it here as much as we do.

You might walk, or meander, to the bakery for breakfast, Pasinis for lunch, The Farm Shed for afternoon wine and gin tastings. The supermarket is on the way so as you wander home, you can grab supplies.

Our accommodation is right on the footpath that leads around the rocks on the foreshore connecting the two beaches in Bicheno – Waubs Beach and Redbill. If you walk towards the water you will intersect the path. Turn left to reach Redbill in between 4 and 5 minutes. Redbill is a typical East Coast, white sandy beach with gorgeous colours in the water, and it connects with Diamond Island at low tide.

Before you go – look up the tides at: http://tides.willyweather.com.au, enter “Bicheno” to see when low tide is (or better still, if your eyesight is OK, look out of the window over to the sandbar and if there are waves everywhere – don’t go!) We have left some darker towels for you to use at the beach as you may get wet feet going to the island.

Alternately, if you turn right at the foreshore, you will find yourself at Waubs Beach well within 10 minutes. You’ll see the Surf Lifesaving Shed, from there you might walk, or meander, to the bakery for breakfast, Pasinis for lunch, The Farm Shed for afternoon wine and gin tastings. The supermarket is on the way so as you wander home, you can grab supplies.
